That's exactly how I am too man. Just take the lessons as they come and don't let it knock you off balance. Have to take the small wins sometimes. It has taught me to let shit go and move up. Service hvac tech 2 years. Apprentice 2 years. 4 years in the field.

If your fast enough with a refrigeration wrench, you can pump down the system to about 50 psig & then close off your hoses.
